Who we are

What we collect and why

When you order, we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address, chosen product, order reference and payment status. We use these to arrange payment, fulfil your order, deliver with FedEx, respond to questions, and deal with returns or warranty requests. The main legal basis is to perform our contract with you. We also keep necessary transaction records to meet our legal obligations. We do not use the checkout details to send marketing messages.

Payments and sharing

Your card details are entered on Dojo's payment page and are not collected by this website. We share the information needed for payment with Dojo and the information needed for delivery with FedEx. Our website hosting provider processes order details so the site can operate. We use Resend to send order emails to you and our team. We share details with professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

How long we keep information

We keep order and accounting records for the period required by tax and company law, and correspondence for as long as needed to deal with an order, a warranty issue or a dispute. We then delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or raise an objection or restriction request where the law allows. Contact repairs@aardvarkappliances.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
